CD: Months Vol. 1 by Andrew Heringer and Marlana Sheetz

I love being asked by my musician friends to create an "album cover".  It's an inspiring collaboration for me.  Music is part of my family heritage.  In "Months" the two guitars are Andrew and Marlana's. Their original music is fresh, full of love and spirit.

When creating the Kairos paintings, I first went to a rehearsal, taped the music, and drew images of the band members.  Back at my studio, I played the tape and began a series of ten abstracts that I felt from the vibes.  Not only are these men great jazz musicians with original riffs  and improvisation; they are a joy for me to know.
