Cherie Hacker began her artistic pursuits in Chicago, later received a Studio Art Bachelors from UC Davis followed by a MFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art. She has exhibited her work from east to west coast, Alaska to New York and Santa Fe, New Mexico. Cherie's abstracts were exhibited in recent solo shows at the Kenneth B Gallery in Florence, Oregon, and the Metro Gallery-Reno City Hall, Nevada. In April 2015 Cherie's work was featured in a two person exhibit at Ardgillan Castle in Ireland. In 2016 abstract exhibits include Beatnik Studios and Cosumnes River College Art Gallery. Her studio is in the E Street Studio complex, a warehouse of twelve artists and the E Street Gallery where she curates a yearly exhibit of artists from the Sacramento region of California.
