Welcome to the Fine Art website of Cherie E. Hacker
In youth, it was clear to myself and those who knew me that I am an Artist. I sought out methods to make art and crafts, and wrote poetry with the innate knowledge that I am a creative being and this is what I do. I continue with determination and joy on this path of desire. I am a process thinker and get excited when challenged in paintings from problems that I create, that I must solve, then make more problems and continue to solve them until my vision is clear. I move throughout concept and imagery over time in a diverse body of works. As a result, I cannot be labeled to one way of working. Yet the work speaks of my way of seeing which involve elements of texture, repitition, and movement. I have worked with art materials and methods of all types over time. Therefore, I use the art media I feel is most appropriate for what I am trying to communicate in any given artwork.
